FOUR Organics Lip Balm

Long time no see, my friends! I bet you're all wondering where I've been this whole time (or not)!

Sometimes life just gets away on you and you need to take a step back from some of your old hobbies! This was one of those times! I haven't forgotten about any of you! In fact, I've wanted to catch up with you all on many occasions and just never found the time!

Now that I've found a bit of extra time and my family stopped growing, I thought I'd hop back into the review bandwagon and boy do I miss it!

Huge thanks to FOUR Organics, I was able to gather some friends and family and my abode to have a lip balm party!

That my friends, is FOUR Organics! A company that makes their balm products with 4 simple ingredients! Coconut oil, beeswax, jojoba oil & peppermint oil....and that's all it takes!

Not only do they make their products with just four ingredients, but they have big hearts! They care for our pets! No products are tested on animals. As an extreme animal lover, this is a huge deal to me! One lip balm, no guilt!

As for the balm itself, my family, friends & myself are in LOOOOOOVE!!! The balm applies nice and smooth with no clumping or squishing or whatever you deal with with some balms! I will warn ya ladies (and gentlemen), the balm is waaaaarm!! Or is it cool!? Regardless, it's pretty strong! I'd probably suggest not putting it on the super young kids! If they get it in their eyes, you might have a problem on your hands! However for myself, yes pleaseeee!!

I think you can see based on the image below that my guests were more than pleased with their new goodies! If you're in the market to try out a new balm, give FOUR Organics a try! I'll include a few links to their social media below!!

4Legz come in 6 enticing varieties so your dogs will never get bored:
Dognutz - Kitty Roca - Ode 2 Odie - Organic Pumpkin - Organic Sweet Potatoes - Chehalis Mint

Something that I hold true for myself and my pups! With ingredients like organic rye flours, purees, oils and spices, you know you're feeding something healthy and natural. Any dog owner (or pet owner in general) can appreciate the simplicity of these treats.

The 4Legz promise:
-Made with the highest quality ingredients
-No wheat or corn
-No artificial preservatives

My Review

For purposes of this review, I was sent a 7 oz. bag of Organic Pumpkin treats for my babies to try! If you've read previous blog posts of mine, you have probably already met Missy w/ my Organic Oscar review. I also have a hyper active Blue Heeler/Aussie cross named Bleu that honestly won't sit still long enough for a picture. Both of the two along with some of their cousins, were my test subjects. Trust me, they didn't mind one bit!
Missy, my prissy Cocker Spaniel tends to be a bit picky when it comes to what goes in the mouth. She's a meat and peanut butter kind of girl so I didn't know what she would think of these. She is also missing a few teeth that were pulled due to dental issues so I was afraid that may affect her eating these. Because these treats are quite hard/crunchy, it did take her a while to chew with fewer teeth, but she downed them without hesitation. Bleu on the other hand....well she'd eat anything. So, of course....you know what happened with these.
I must also mention my canine nephew, a tiny Yorkie, thought it was absolutely hysterical to roll these perfectly round treats around the kitchen floor for 10 minutes prior to eating! Not only a delicious treat, but a temporary toy too!

So....what would your doggy do for a 4Legz treat?
Sit? Shake? Beg?

Fe Fit Fuel Protein & Energy Bar Review

You know those times when you really know you need to get up and work out but you're just so comfortable or have no energy? Yeah, I get those days too! Fortunately, there are things to give you that little boost of energy that you need to get up and get going. Fe Fit Fuel bars are one of those things. They're even better as fuel for your muscles AFTER your workout!

Fe Fit Fuel bars are a mini snack packed with protein (and energy)! They are also gluten free and a paleo whole natural food. These bars come in 3 enticing flavor selections. You may also purchase them in a combo pack that will include all 3 flavors. The three C's:

- Cacao Nib Almond
- Cashew Apricot
- Coconut Pecan

I must admit, when I saw these, I was a little iffy. Firstly, they are mini! However, when you eat them, they are very dense and there is more to them than what you see! If you want to get technical, the bars range between 1.13 and 1.16 ounces a piece. Fair weight for such a small snack! Though my attempt above was to show the size, sometimes pictures can be deceiving. In comparison to size (not weight), these would be similar to a 'fun size' candy bar that you would purchase in packs in the store.

Next, I opened a package (these pictures happen to be the Cashew Apricot variety). No, they do not look appetizing. At least to me they don't. But please keep in mind that these are Paleo and All Natural. If you want the health benefits, you may just have to give up the visual appeal. Many health concious eaters are already accustomed to this.

The taste test. The most exciting part, right? Being packed with 10 grams of protein in this tiny bar, I was a bit skeptical that it would have that 'taste'. You know the one! Fortunately these do not have that dry, protein-like flavor to them. They have a very fresh, natural flavor instead. Almost as if the ingredients were just all slapped together with some honey! Can't get any more fresh than that! For reference, here is the list of ingredients in the Cashew Apricot variety. Both other bars are similar, with the exception of a few ingredients.
Isolate whey protein, raw pecans, organic dates, raw cashews, dried apricot, organic raw coconut, spring water, raw honey, organic coconut sugar, organic chia seeds, organic ground flax seed, raw organic extra virgin coconut oil, pure vanilla extract, sea salt

Nutrition Facts:
Serving Size: 33 grams, Servings: 1, Amount Per Serving: Calories 140, Fat Cal. 60, Total Fat 7g, Sat. Fat 2.5g, Trans Fat 0g, Cholest. 0mg, Sodium 15mg, Total Carb. 10g, Fiber 2g, Sugars 6g, Protein 10g, Vitamin A 0%, Vitamin C 0%, Calcium 0%, Iron 4%

Carolina Castile Soap Review & Giveaway + DIY Shampoo Recipe

Like vinegar and baking soda, castile soap is extremely versatile. Carolina Castile Soap is just that. These soaps are made from a mixture of oils (mainly olive) as well as cocoa butter. Many if not all of the oils included in the making of soap are organic. No fake dyes or scents are used in the soaps and they do not contain sodium laureth/lauryl sulfate as many big name brands do. Carolina Castile Soap is also animal and environmental friendly, a big plus! They also do not use false foaming agents, something that can not be said about many soaps/shampoos/etc. found in big box stores. After all, it isn't the suds that clean. ;)

As mentioned earlier, castile soap is very versatile and multi-purpose. Here is just a small list of some of its uses:
Shampoo - Hand Soap - Dog Shampoo - Laundry Detergent - Face Wash - Dish Soap - Mopping Floors - General House Cleaner - Cleaning Wipes - Vegetable Rinse - Carpet Cleaner - Dishwasher Detergent - Shaving Cream - Baby Shampoo/Wash - Body Wash - Bathroom Scrub

While Carolina Castile Soap offers many fragrances available on their website, I was sent the Gentle Unscented variety to review (plus share an awesome DIY) and giveaway. This specific castile soap is made with 7 ingredients. SEVEN. Plus, I can pronounce all of them. I'm told by a very wise one (thanks momma!), that if you can't pronounce the ingredient, it probably ain't good for ya! In case you're curious, here is the ingredient list:
Organic Olive Oil - Organic & Fair Trade Cocoa Butter - Organic Coconut Oil - Citric Acid - Potassium Hydroxide - Tocopherol (Vitamin E) - Water

So anyway, my first goal was to create a shampoo recipe. I scoured Pinterest to find a recipe and gave a few a try. I just made enough of each for a single use to test them out. It turns out that there were things I liked and didn't like about each. Therefore, I took it upon myself to try my own combinations to see what I liked best. Please keep in mind that all formulas work differently with individual body chemistry. If this doesn't work for you, try tweaking the recipe until you find something that does. I will post substitutions below the recipe for you to experiment with. Lastly, don't freak out when you mix your ingredients and see that they are a consistency between water and shampoo, this is normal. I actually prefer this over the cream/gel as it isn't so heavy for your hair.

Ingredients:
1/2 Cup Castile Soap
1/4 Cup Distilled Water
1/4 tsp. Vitamin E
5-10 Drops Essential Oil (I used Lavender & Orange)

Directions:
1. Pour all ingredients into a glass bowl
2. Gently stir to avoid excessive foaming
3. Store in a squeeze bottle (I just recycled an empty one)
4. Enjoy

Substitutions:
○ If you are missing ingredients, Carolina Castile Soap can be used alone
○ You may substitute the Vitamin E (though it helps preserve) with Aloe Gel for the extra moisture
○ Use all Lavender oil to soothe scalp, including helping w/ dandruff
○ Peppermint oil will provide an invigorating perk to your scalp as well as help with oily hair
○ Cedarwood provides an earthy, musky scent that may help w/ hair regrowth
○ Use any mixture of essential oils that you think smell nice

Then there's the fun part! Carolina Castile Soap was super generous in offering a 32 oz. Gentle Unscented bottle to one of my readers! Enter using the widget below.

Vellabox Monthly Candle Subscription Review

Vellabox is a candle subscription box where you will receive 1 to 2 candles monthly depending on which price level you subscribe to. Details on each price level will be listed below. All candles provided are all natural, 100% soy wax. Vellabox works with companies, big and small to put together the perfect package on your doorstep each month. This company also allows you to purchase individual candles of your choice whenever you are so inclined. This feature is perfect for those who prefer to choose a scent as opposed to being surprised. Lastly, Vellabox lets you 'gift' subscriptions to those you love. These are available in 3, 6 or 12 month options. Price points for these are identical to that of a personal subscription. Candle amounts and ounces are also identical.

Subscription Options:

The Standard
- 1 Candle/Month (4 oz.)
- Approx. 25 hrs. burn time
- +$2.00 Shipping/Handling
$10.00/Month

The Aficionado
- 1 Candle/Month (8 oz.)
- Approx. 50 hrs. burn time
- Free shipping
$20.00/Month

The Luxe
- 1 to 2 Candle[s]/Month (Approx. 12 oz.)
- Approx. 75 hrs. burn time
- Free shipping
$30.00/Month

Vellabox's packaging is simple, but very cute! Mine was wrapped in a couple pieces of burlap and tied with a basic jute bow! Upon unwrapping the candle, the jar/label were also simple, matching the packaging.

Don't let the 'simple' fool you when it comes to scent! I received the handmade Amber & Moss candle by P.F. Candle Co. All it took was a twist of the cover to discover the fragrance. To me, the scent is that of mens aftershave/cologne or maybe a shower gel/body wash. Is it something that I would pick out on my own? Probably not. However, that's part of the fun of this subscription, you never know what you'll get.

These candles burn very clean and are long lasting. I had mine burning for about 4 hours before blowing it out and there was no soot whatsoever to be found. As far as the candles burning for the mentioned amount of time (20-25 hrs.), I can't comment on that as I didn't want to burn it up in just a couple days. The scent also disperses very well. Within 5 minutes of lighting the candle on the main floor, I could already smell it from the upstairs of my home. It gives the entire house a very clean, fresh scent.

Overall, I was quite pleased with Vellabox and the quality of products that they offer. Though $10 may seem on the spendy side for a 4 oz. candle, they are very high quality unlike something that you could buy at a big box store. Plus, you are left with a cute little jar to use in crafts once the candle is gone. This subscription would also make the perfect gift!

20 Questions - 21 Answers

So I've been blogging on here since July of 2012 but I feel like I have yet to tell you about myself aside from the tiny bio at the bottom. Not that anyone cares or that it's important, but sometimes I like to know about the writers of my favorite blogs, so maybe others do too! To solve this issue, here is a blog post dedicated to....me....which you probably will never see again on this blog. I'll ask myself 20 questions and provide you with the answers and that should do it! Now...I'm not going to ask what my favorite colors are (which are orange and purple), because well...that's just not fun...or interesting.

1. If you sat at a 'Mean Girls' table in High School, which would it be?
"I'd be sitting over there with the art freaks."

2. Where did your blog name come from?
Well, when I was totally new to the world of blogging, I started a few separate blogs for multiple WOM marketing sites. Then I realized I really only needed one generalized review blog for all sites. I transferred all of my posts to 'Pieces of Influence' because that blog name was my favorite out of the ones I had. 'Pieces of Influence' was originally made for reviewing items from Influenster.

3. What is your phones current ringtone?
Leave the Night On - Sam Hunt

4. Where is your dream vacation?
I'd LOVE to visit Australia!

5. What is your biggest pet peeve?
Pushing! Literally. When you're in the store...or anywhere, it's so easy to just say 'excuse me', but instead so many choose to just nudge you out of the way. Ugh!

6. What are your favorite animals?
Well, I adore dogs, cats and horses...but those are too basic! Aside from pets, I love love love owls, squirrels....and black bears. Lets just say, I love all animals. ;)

7. If your closest friends had to describe you with one word, what would it be?
Dork

8. What is the last movie that you watched?
Well just now, while writing this, I'm watching 'Living with the Enemy' on LMN.

9. What was your first job?
When I was 15-ish, I babysat for the neighbors on nights and some weekends for many years.

10. What is your favorite meal?
Roast with sauerkraut and peeled potatoes all in one dish! Though, I don't really eat meat, so that part gets passed on.

11. Were you in any extra curricular activities in high school?
Yes, I was in FFA and loved it! Wish there was an 'after graduation' version of FFA.

12. Early bird or night owl?
Well...I'm def. not a morning person! I wouldn't say I'm a complete night owl either though...kinda in-between.

13. Besides blogging, what are your hobbies?
LOTS of things! I play guitar, scrapbook, do photography, spend time with pets, workout, and a whole lot more.

14. Do you have any nicknames?
Nah. When I was little, sometimes people would call me Sara Bear, but that didn't last long.

15. What did you want to 'grow up' to be?
For a long time, I wanted to be a cosmetologist, but that has faded. Oh how things change!

16. Guilty pleasure song?
Pretty much any Spice Girls song. After all...I was in a Spice Girls club when I was in elementary school. Lol! xD

17. Do you have any weird talents?
If bending just the tip of my left index finger forward is a talent, then yes! However...that may just be because it accidentally got smashed in a car door when I was little.

18. Would you rather travel back in time or into the future?
I'd go back to the 80's because....who wouldn't want to?!?

19. Which chore do you dislike most?
Dusting! Ugh! I'd rather clean toilets all day...well....maybe not!

20. Where is your favorite place to shop?
Target.

Well that was rather quick and easy! Hope I didn't completely bore you with the questions. Now....back to doing reviews and DIY's! (:

Arvazallia Shampoo, Conditioner and Mask Review

I absolutely LOVE trying new shampoos and conditioners so you can imagine how excited I was to have the opportunity to try this!
While a tiny detail, I was really pleased to see that all 3 items came shrink wrapped through the mail. I don't know how many times I have received lotions/shampoos/conditioners/other liquids in the mail and had them leaking everywhere. Such a pain to clean up. Also....I will tell you from my experience...you have to take the shampoo/conditioner top off to remove a foil piece. With my first use, I was wondering why it was so difficult to get the shampoo out. It turns out, the foil was partially opened and that made it hard to squeeze. Silly mistake! Anyway....let's get down to the nitty gritty!

Arvazallia Repair Moisturizing Shampoo:

This product is specially made to repair, restore and strengthen hair that has been previously damaged. It also helps lock in moisture and gives your hair a nice shine! While I do not often use much product or heat tools in my hair, it still shows a bit of damage. My hair is very long and tends to get tugged around on by kids, pets and who knows what else. While I probably haven't used the system quite long enough to notice a huge difference, in the short term, I have noticed that my hair is much more smooth and less frizzy. The shampoo is also Sulfate free and therefore is much more gentle on your hair. While not a make a break factor, the scent is also AMAZING! It is quite strong, so if you're sensitive to scents, you may not appreciate this. However, it has a very fresh, maybe slightly floral scent. My only very slight issue with this is that (aside from the foil issue above) it is still a bit difficult to get the product out. The bottle is quite tall and the product is thick enough to where it is a bit difficult to 'shake' to the opening. But then again....maybe I'm just picky!
-Purchase on Amazon-

Arvazallia Repair Daily Conditioner:

The conditioner is also made to accomplish the same goals as above, plus detangling. I really appreciate the fact that the brand also included argan oil in the conditioner as well as the shampoo. Double the oil, double the moisture. When it comes to detangling, I always apply the product and comb my fingers through my hair. With this conditioner, it was very easy to get the knots out and smooth my hair. As far as issues, the only thing I noticed is the very minor problem that I mentioned with the shampoo.
-Purchase on Amazon-

Arvazallia Hydrating Argan Oil Mask:

Star of the show! Out of all three products that I was able to try, this was my favorite! Best deep conditioner I have tried by far. Once again, this was created for the purposes mentioned above. However, to me this works like something that would cost twice the price! You know that feeling when you go to the salon and get your hair cut? It feels super smooth and 'new'? That is what this did to my hair! Instantly when I applied it in the shower, my hair felt like silk! Plus, it is super easy to use! Just apply it, comb through, let it sit for a few minutes and rinse it out. Once dry, my hair had volume, shine, moisture and lack of frizz! I was so pleased with this product and will definitely purchase in the future!
-Purchase on Amazon-

--

If you have damaged hair, this would definitely be something that you should try out. If nothing else, at least the deep conditioning mask! Or, if you're looking to start with sulfate free shampoo, or change your current, this product would be a great, affordable alternative!

DIY Sugar Scrub & Pure Body Naturals Fractionated Coconut Oil Review

If you are a regular reader of my blog, you probably already know that my normal post is just a product review. While I love reviewing products, I also love DIY projects and anything that involves 'cooking' if you can call it that. So......not only do I have a product review for you, but I also have an EXTREMELY simple DIY recipe project to share!

The recipe that I will be giving you is for some Sugar Scrub! Sounds yummy...but this isn't edible, but your body will love it! With just 3 simple ingredients, you'll have a luxury beauty product in just a few minutes time. When I create this product, I like to make several very small batches so that I can add different scents and package them separately. If you'd like, feel free to double, triple or even quadruple this recipe to make a larger jar full. Trust me, you'll love it!

Step 1:
In a small bowl, measure out 1/3 cup of fractionated coconut oil. I used oil from Pure Body Naturals which can be purchased on Amazon! This product is 100% pure and natural making it perfect for any beauty care needs. It is also a great moisturizer which is its purpose in the scrub, but will not clog pores. The oil is completely clear and odorless, making it excellent to use to create unscented products, or ones where you want to add your own fragrance. Lastly, it makes a perfect carrier oil for using essential oils, which will also be part of this recipe.

Step 2:
Add 5 or so drops of your favorite essential oil to the coconut oil and mix. In the pictured scrub, I used an organic peppermint. I absolutely love the 'cool', almost energizing feeling that you get from peppermint essential oil. If you're looking for some basics on essential oils, you can check out my review HERE

Step 3:
Add 1/2 cup sugar to your oil mixture and stir. If you want to keep the scrub more natural, feel free to use an organic sugar. Otherwise, white sugar that you use for baking works just fine. If you do use organic, it is possible that the scrub may have a yellow-ish tint depending on the kind that you use. No biggie. The sugar works as an exfoliate and removes dead skin cells from your body. It also gives the scrub a light sweet scent.

Step 4:
Package your scrub in an airtight container and store. I used a cute little glass canning jar with a plastic screw on lid. I also added some ribbon and a bow for a little decoration. Lastly, I topped it off with a 'Sugar Scrub' label so that the product gets used for it's specified purpose. Here is what my finished product looked like:

Keep in mind that this recipe can be adjusted to fit your likes/needs. If you would prefer a stronger or more mild scent, add more or less essential oils. Also, if you would prefer the scrub to be thinner or thicker, add more or less sugar/oil. It could be a fun experiment. Maybe you want to make several batches with different amounts to see which you'd prefer. It's so quick and simple to make that you could make several at once.

You can use the scrub on everything from your hands to your arms and legs and even your lips. Yes, your lips (and while it may taste good, please don't eat it!)! Simply rub a small amount on any area you would like, wait for a few minutes and then rinse. I absolutely love the way this fractionated coconut oil works in the scrub! It gives plenty of moisture without going overboard. I don't typically like to use it straight from the bottle as it sometimes creates a 'sheen' on your skin. That being said, it does work wonders.

-----------------------------------------------

Recipe:

1/3 Cup Fractionated Coconut Oil
5 Drops Essential Oil (Any Scent)
1/2 Cup Sugar

Directions:
1. Mix fractionated coconut oil and essential oil together in small bowl
2. Add sugar and mix
3. Store in airtight container
4. Enjoy!

I received the Pure Body Naturals Fractionated Coconut Oil complimentary in exchange for my review. All opinions are 100% my own!

Influenster Refresh VoxBox Product Review

Oh yus! Thank yooouuuu Influenster! As I may have mentioned in the past, Influenster is one of my favorite, if not my absolute favorite word of mouth site out there. If this box doesn't prove why, I don't know what will! I was shocked when I opened up such a small box to find it filled with such a large amount of goodies! So...read on to find some new favs!

----------------------------------

Beanitos Chips
Melt in your mouth goodness to the max!
The first bag that I tried were the Nacho Cheese! I instantly noticed that yes, they are a bit too salty. BUT....the chips literally melt in your mouth like cheese puffs or puff corn! Yum! A few days later, I gave the restaurant style chips a try. While I wasn't as amazed by these, they were still delicious. I have had black bean chips before and they tasted similar. If you've ever had any sort of 'bean' chips, you have an idea what these would taste like. If you've never had bean chips before, they literally taste like crispy, crunchy beans! Sounds odd, but tasted great!

Would I purchase: Yes to the Nacho Cheese, no to the Restaurant Style

----------------------------------

Covergirl UltraSmooth Foundation
Wow was I lucky on this one! It's sooo hard to choose make-up shades by an online swatch, but I had to do just that. Guess what!?!? It turned out to be the perfect shade! I love that this product comes with its own cute little applicator (though not visible in pics). I'm not one to use my fingers, so I have used a brush in the past. Well...that's a quick way to wear out brushes. The applicator is quick and easy to clean. As the name states, the foundation does apply very smoothly. Other than that, there isn't a huge difference from other basic Covergirl foundations. As far as coverage goes, I would say it is between medium and full and applies very evenly.

Would I purchase: On occasion, but not exclusively

----------------------------------

L'Occitane Shea Butter Light Comforting Cream
Hmmmmm??? I can't really make up my mind on this one. I absolutely love how the lotion feels on your skin. Super soft and smooth! It's also extremely light and doesn't clog your skin. However, I'm not a huge fan of the scent. Normally I'd prefer unscented or fruity scents. This, to me, has a general lotion-y scent or almost like a baby powder. It's also pretty expensive but regardless, the stuff works crazy good!

Would I purchase: Only with a coupon/discount

----------------------------------

Orgain Certified Organic Nutritional Shake
Unfortunately this product came in the form of a FREE Product Coupon. Also unfortunately, there are not stores near me that sell this product. I'm hoping to just save the coupon until I travel to a location where I can get this product. While I've never tasted it, it looks absolutely delish! Other than that, I really can't review any further.

Would I purchase: To be determined

----------------------------------

Montagne Jeunesse Face Masques
I've used many Montagne Jeunesse products in the past, so this is nothing new to me! I have yet to find one of their products that I dislike and this is no different. One thing that you should remember about peel off masks is that you should apply them very thin! If you get too much of the product on at one time, it takes far too long to dry. One thin, even layer and you're good to go. Love the 'Honey' part of this as well, smells great! I've also heard that honey is rather good for your skin!

Would I purchase: Yes

----------------------------------

SkinnyGirl Tasty Nutrition Bar
What a perfect combination. How can you go wrong with dark chocolate and banana?! Now....if you don't like banana, I would suggest NOT trying this specific flavor. The main thing you taste is the banana...but not the artificial 'candy' banana flavor. No. It literally tastes like banana was blended and added to the bar. Then you taste the chocolate! To me, the chocolate tastes more like semi-sweet than it does dark. I do like dark chocolate though, so it's possible that it may taste a bit more on the bitter side if you're not a fan. I have had other flavors of these bars in the past and they are absolutely delicious, so if you don't like this flavor combo, try another! Trust me, you'll love them. Plus, the bars are 150 calories of nutrition! At 7 grams of protein per bar, this is a perfect snack to tide you over.

Would I purchase: Yes

----------------------------------

Listerine Pocketpaks
Wowza! Lots of spice in a tiny 'Pak'! I have had similar strips in the past but I don't remember them having that much oomph! Basically these are like a little square of tissue paper looking stuff that dissolves on your tongue. It takes a short time for the strip to dissolve, but the freshness lasts for hours. To get an idea of the flavor, it would taste similar to that of Listerine mouthwash. I also did a bit of research and found that they come in other flavors as well. Knowing this, I actually already picked up another 3 pack of a different flavor (Coolmint). These too had a lot of oomph but just in a different minty flavor. Both worked equally as well.

Would I purchase: Already have

----------------------------------

Dentek Fun Flossers
CUTE! I've looked at flossers in the store before but have never seen the 'Fun' ones! I don't have kids, so maybe they are in the kids section? Anyway....I brought these to my nieces to try out. Of course they grabbed them instantly without even knowing what they are. After showing them, both had their teeth cleaner than what the dentist would provide (Haha)! So...in other words...if you're little one doesn't like to floss, give these a try! Maybe the 'fun' factor will get them more excited about oral hygiene.

Would I purchase: No, only because I don't have kids

----------------------------------

Dentek Comfort Clean Floss Picks
I have used another brand of similar flossers before so I was excited to compare the two! What I really loved about these is that they have a pick on one side! This often comes in handy, especially after a meal/etc. They also have a nice minty flavor to help freshen breath. Always a plus! I did notice that the floss on them tends to stretch (if that makes sense), so it does get a little hard to completely finish flossing your teeth. However, I've never had it actually break on me.

Would I purchase: Yes

Fibolica Hair Thickening Fibers Review + Giveaway

So this is pretty much one of the coolest products that I have reviewed thus far! I mean...who even knew that something like this existed. I sure didn't! If you also are not familiar with what this is, please keep reading. Actually...even if you already know what it is....keep reading too! ;)

About the Product

Fibolica is basically little tiny fibers that when applied to your hair, attach to strands like little tiny magnets. Anybody with hair loss or even mildly thinning hair will appreciate this product. Men and women alike. The product comes in 9 colors so that you can get the perfect shade. It is recommended that if you are unsure between two shades, that you choose the darker of the two. I was in this predicament, and was glad that I chose the darker. The bottle is similar to that of any hair powder or almost like a 'salt/pepper shaker' with a lid. Plus, one small, 25 gram bottle lasts for 2 whole months!! Simply remove the cap, shake a small amount onto thinning areas and gently pat. You can even put a few layers on for coverage to your liking. In case you are curious as I was, here is what the product looks like on a plain sheet of paper:

My Review & Results

Ever since high school, there is one spot on my hair that when parted, is slightly wider than the rest. I normally wouldn't part my hair here, but for review purposes, I did. My goal was to show how well...or terribly this product worked. Before seeing the result, I was extremely impressed with the ease of using the product. If need be, I could easily get up each morning, shake a little Fibolica on and go! I noticed instantly that the fibers were a bit darker than my hair color, but it ended up blending in beautifully. Now comes the fun part, before and after! Both pictures were taken within 5 minutes of each other in the exact same location under the same light. No trickery here.

How cool is that?!? Yeah, yeah...I know I didn't sprinkle it in completely even, but hey...it was my first try! This was only two very thin layers, so I can't imagine how thick and full my hair would look with more! While my hair isn't exactly 'thin' when parted in most spots, I'm still in love with this product and will use it just to give my hair a little boost! Now....to hunt down some baldies (I'm lookin' at you daddy!) to give this a try on! ;)
