Chapstick Day & Night provides 24 hour lip protection in one dainty tube! One side is to be used during the day (the yellow side), which provides your lips with moisture. The night side (blue) is packed with natural butters, antioxidants and Tamanu oil to replenish. Lastly, SPF 12 is a nice addition to this balm.
Because each side is very different, I will separate my review into two sections, Day Side and Night Side:
Day Side
While I absolutely love the light, almost citrus-y flavor, I wasn't a huge fan of the 'Day' balm. I do like that the ChapStick applies very smooth and doesn't feel greasy or oily. What I'm not a huge fan of is the lasting power. I feel like I'm needing to apply balm every hour. Within the hour, it appears that the balm wears off on its own whether you're eating/drinking or not. After using this product for 3 weeks, it appears that it isn't actually 'healing' my lips, but only works while it is actually on my lips.
Night Side
Now this side, I love! Once again, the flavor/scent is very light and almost calming. The scent is very familiar but I just can't put my finger on it. Applying a thin layer in the evening is enough to last until morning. The first thing I realize when getting up is that I still have ChapStick on. It is quite rare that a ChapStick will last for this long. Even after taking the balm off to brush my teeth/etc., I can still feel the effects of the balm. My lips really feel refreshed and 'new' if that makes sense. Very pleased with the 'Night' side.
All in all, I would re-purchase for the 'Night' side alone. I feel that the benefits really do outweigh the cons. I hope this review was helpful to you in one way or another.
