Liebster Award

Kay guys, so I have some pretty exciting news for you all! I was recently nominated for something called the Liebster Award. This is an award given to bloggers who are new or still blog on a small scale. My nomination came from another Liebster Award nominee, Tiffany, over at Before the Clock Strikes Midnight! Be sure to check out her blog as well, you'll be glad you did!

Part of the award is for me to also nominate 11 bloggers who I believe are deserving. This was a pretty easy task for me with all the great blogs out there. So...without further ado, here are my noms:

-Mayzie's Dog Blog-
-From Thought to Blog-
-Casandra XO-
-Hazel Beltran-
-Someday Sunny-
-Mazy's Food Adventures-
-Megan M O-
-Bliss to Bean-
-Bee's Opinions and Reviews-
-Just4Moms by Cheryl-
-2 Girls 1 Blog-

Now....for the last part of the award....I was given a list of 11 questions to answer for all of you guys! These are also the questions that I will pass on to my 11 nominees!

1. Write 3 words that describe your personality.
Giving, Spontaneous, Easygoing

2. How did you choose your blog name?
I originally started blogging for the Word of Mouth site, Influenster, hence the name. When I realized how much I loved blogging, my 'Influenster' blog grew to what it is now!

3. What subject did you dread in high school?
History. Just wasn't for me!

4. When do you find time to write?
Evenings I like to just sit back with my laptop and blog! Add some tea and it's a good stress reliever.

5. What did you want to be when you grew up?
I've changed a million and one times, but I initially wanted to be a veterinarian. Animals are a huge part of my life.

6. Do you prefer city or country living? Why?
All my life I have been a huge country/farm girl so that's how I will always be. My parent's as well as their parents also grew up on the farm. I guess it's just in the family.

7. What's your favorite quote and/or Bible verse and why?
Ecclesiastes 3:1-8
To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven:
A time to be born, and a time to die; a time to plant, and a time to pluck up that which is planted;
A time to kill, and a time to heal; a time to break down, and a time to build up;
A time to weep, and a time to laugh; a time to mourn, and a time to dance;
A time to cast away stones, and a time to gather stones together; a time to embrace, and a time to refrain from embracing;
A time to get, and a time to lose; a time to keep, and a time to cast away;
A time to rend, and a time to sew; a time to keep silence, and a time to speak;
A time to love, and a time to hate; a time of war, and a time of peace.

When I first heard this verse (Yes, on Footloose), I just never forgot it. There is so much truth to it and so much meaning. Regardless of the situation, this verse applies.

8. What's a goal you want to conquer in the next year? (It doesn't have to be blogging related.)
My goal is simply to keep up. Being so busy, I end up getting behind on some of my favorite tasks (including blogging). So, I'd love to take a bit more time out for some of those things!

9. What is your favorite way to unwind and release stress?
Music and animals are two of my passions. Both are perfect for stress release. Just cuddling up with my puppies/kitties is always helpful. I also play guitar and write music which are huge stress relievers.

10. Do you have another talent besides writing that you love?
Well....I do and learn so many new things that I have given myself several talents. I do photography as a 'side job' for family and friends. I'm also pretty crafty. As mentioned above, I also play guitar and write music!

11. What are three things on your bucket list?
1. Visit Sydney, Australia
2. Volunteer at as many Animal Shelters as possible
3. Keep my health
